Which network should I send ETH on?

The Ethereum network, as shown on the payment page. Ether sent on another network, such as a layer 2, does not reach the payment page and may not be recoverable.

Who pays the gas fee?

You do, on top of the amount: the payment page shows what must arrive. If you pay from an exchange, make sure its withdrawal fee is not taken out of the amount you send.

What if I send too little or too much?

If you send too little, the payment page shows what is still due: send the rest before it expires. If the payment expires incomplete, or you send too much, report it from the payment’s page in your client area with the transaction ID: we check the blockchain and credit what arrived to your balance.

Can I run an Ethereum node on a VPS?

A light client, yes. A full node wants about 2 TB of fast SSD or more and 16 GB of RAM or more, which is dedicated-server territory: see our AMD Ryzen and EPYC servers.

Is paying with Ether anonymous?

No. Every transaction is public, and ETH bought on an exchange is linked to your account there. We never ask who you are, but for a private payment use Monero.

How do refunds work?

A new VPS or RDP service has a 72-hour money-back guarantee on its first period, refunded to your balance. The unused part of your balance that came from top-ups, never the bonus, can be withdrawn to your wallet from Billing in the client area, minus the network fee.
