## Choose the law your server lives under.

US DMCA notices are not actioned in any of them. What differs is the local law, and we spell it out.

| Jurisdiction | Legal profile | EU rules (DSA) | Removal requires | Available |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Iceland Reykjavík 64°08′N 21°56′W | Free-speech haven Home of the IMMI press-freedom resolution. Outside the EU: the Digital Services Act is not in force. | Do not apply | Icelandic court order | VPS DED RDP GPU |
| Switzerland Zürich 47°22′N 8°33′E | Privacy law Strict Federal Act on Data Protection and no EU platform rules. Swiss copyright law applies locally. | Do not apply | Swiss court order | VPS DED RDP |
| Moldova Chișinău 47°01′N 28°50′E | Best value EU candidate, not a member: no DSA. Content is assessed under Moldovan law only. | Do not apply | Moldovan court order | VPS DED RDP GPU |
| Romania Bucharest 44°26′N 26°06′E | Budget EU Blanket data retention struck down twice by the Constitutional Court. EU notice rules apply. | Apply | Romanian court order | VPS DED RDP GPU |
| Netherlands Amsterdam 52°22′N 4°54′E | Network hub Best-connected location in Europe (AMS-IX). US DMCA notices carry no legal force here. | Apply | Dutch court order | VPS DED RDP GPU |
| Bulgaria Sofia 42°42′N 23°19′E | Budget EU Data-retention law annulled by the Constitutional Court in 2015. Solid peering to the Balkans. | Apply | Bulgarian court order | VPS DED RDP |
| Malaysia Kuala Lumpur 3°08′N 101°41′E | Asia gateway Only Malaysian copyright procedure applies, and a false takedown notice is a criminal offence. | Do not apply | Malaysian court order | VPS RDP |

No jurisdiction is lawless: local courts can always act, and in EU locations the EU notice-and-action rules also apply. Not sure? [Check the latency of each location](https://offshoreserv.com/network) or [read how we handle complaints](https://offshoreserv.com/dmca-policy).

## Tolerant of speech. Intolerant of abuse.

Offshore does not mean lawless. What we protect, what we refuse, and what we keep about you.

### What we promise

- No action on US DMCA notices Your server stays online.
- No ID, name or address An email is enough, even a private one.
- No traffic inspection or logs No DPI, no content scanning.
- No selling or sharing of data No ad networks, no trackers.
- No suspension without due process You are told first and can respond.

### What we never host

- Child sexual abuse material Removed at once, reported.
- Malware, botnets, C2 servers Stealers, ransomware panels, kits.
- Spam and phishing SMTP opens on request.
- Attacks from our network DDoS, mass scans, brute force.
- Fraud against real people Carding, fake shops, extortion.

### What an account stores

- **Name, address, phone**: Never asked
- **Identity documents**: Never asked
- **Email address**: While your account exists
- **Payment**: Coin, amount, transaction ID
- **Your server’s traffic**: Never logged
- **This website**: No tracking cookies, no IP logs

When a complaint arrives

1. **Checked** against the law of your server’s country.
2. **Foreign notice?** Answered, never enforced. Nothing happens.
3. **Local court order?** You are informed and can respond first.
4. **Published** in our transparency report, anonymized.

## Cheap is not the same as cut-rate.

Lower prices come from crypto-only billing and a lean team, not from weaker hardware.

- **NVMe on every VPS** — VPS and RDP plans all run on NVMe SSDs.
- **Current-gen CPUs** — Ryzen 7000/9000 and EPYC next to proven Xeons.
- **DDoS mitigation** — Always-on filtering at the edge, no extra fee.
- **1 to 10 Gbps ports** — Unmetered bandwidth on every plan, fair use.
- **KVM virtualization** — Guaranteed resources, full root, your kernel.
- **Custom ISO & rescue** — Any OS, console access at any time.
- **IPv4 + IPv6** — A dedicated IPv4 and a /64 per server.
- **Snapshots & rescue** — Snapshots before risky changes, rescue mode, console.

## Built for projects that can’t afford a takedown.

Six kinds of projects that need a host who reads the law before acting on a complaint. Each tag opens the plans that fit.

- **Journalism & activism** — Outlets, leak platforms and NGOs that one complaint must not switch off. — VPS DED
- **Streaming & media** — High-traffic origins on unmetered 1 to 10 Gbps ports. — DED 10G
- **VPN, proxy & Tor relays** — Your own exits, bridges and relays, in a jurisdiction you chose. — VPS
- **AI & private LLMs** — Open-weight models on RTX 4090 to H100. Prompts never leave your box. — GPU
- **Trading & automation** — Always-on Windows desktops for bots, expert advisors and scripts. — RDP VPS
- **Crypto infrastructure** — Full nodes, Lightning, explorers, paid with the coins they run. — VPS DED

## Offshore hosting, answered.

What people ask before they move their servers offshore.

**Still unsure?** Everything we would answer before an order is on this site: specs, prices, policies and guides. Dedicated and GPU customers get tickets with our engineers.

### Do you really ignore DMCA notices?

Yes. A US DMCA notice has no legal force in any of our jurisdictions, so we do not act on it and your server stays online. We reply to the sender with our policy.

The only thing that can require action is a valid court order from the country where your server runs, and in EU locations the EU notice-and-action rules. See our [DMCA & complaints policy](https://offshoreserv.com/dmca-policy), and which countries apply what instead in [DMCA-ignored countries](https://offshoreserv.com/blog/dmca-ignored-countries).

### What content is not allowed?

Child sexual abuse material, malware and botnet control servers, spam and phishing, attacks against third parties, and fraud. Anything else that is legal in your server’s jurisdiction is welcome. The full list is in our [acceptable use policy](https://offshoreserv.com/acceptable-use-policy).

### Do I have to give my name or an ID?

No. An email address is enough, and it can be a private one. We never ask for a name, a postal address, a phone number or an identity document: see our [no KYC VPS](https://offshoreserv.com/no-kyc-vps), and [how to buy a VPS anonymously](https://offshoreserv.com/blog/buy-a-vps-anonymously) for the rest of your privacy.

### Which cryptocurrencies do you accept?

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Monero (XMR), Tether (USDT) and Solana (SOL). USDT is accepted on two networks, Ethereum (ERC-20) and Tron (TRC-20): you choose one before you pay. Any of them tops up your balance, which is kept in USD and pays for servers and renewals. Payments go on-chain from any wallet, with no card processor in between. Each coin has its own guide: [Bitcoin](https://offshoreserv.com/bitcoin-vps), [Ethereum](https://offshoreserv.com/ethereum-vps), [Monero](https://offshoreserv.com/monero-vps), [USDT](https://offshoreserv.com/usdt-vps) and [Solana](https://offshoreserv.com/solana-vps).

### How can every plan be 30% cheaper than the competition?

In September 2026 we compared 700+ plans from 60+ offshore providers and priced each of ours at no more than 70% of the cheapest comparable offer. Crypto-only billing means no card fees and no chargebacks, which is a large part of how the numbers work. The data is in [the cheapest offshore VPS in 2026](https://offshoreserv.com/blog/offshore-vps-prices-2026).

### How fast is my server delivered?

Servers are paid instantly from your balance, so provisioning starts as soon as you order: usually within a minute for a VPS and about 5 minutes for Windows. Dedicated servers take 2 to 24 hours and GPU servers 1 to 24 hours, depending on the build.

### Do you keep logs?

We do not log or inspect your server’s traffic. Your account keeps your email, your balance history and the transaction IDs of your top-ups; sign-ins are recorded with the browser and country only, never the IP address. This website sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics and keeps access logs without IP addresses.

### Can I upgrade or change location later?

Yes. VPS and RDP plans can be upgraded at any time from the server’s page in the client area ( **Server actions**); the difference is taken from your balance and a short reboot applies the new resources. To move to another jurisdiction, order a server there and copy your data across, as our [backup guide](https://offshoreserv.com/docs/vps/snapshots) shows. Dedicated and GPU customers can also ask for help by ticket.

### Is offshore hosting legal?

Renting a server in another country is legal almost everywhere. What matters is how it is used: you remain responsible for respecting the law that applies to you and to your server’s jurisdiction. Our plain-English answer: [is offshore hosting legal?](https://offshoreserv.com/blog/is-offshore-hosting-legal)

## Your server, beyond the reach of takedown notices.

1. Pick a server and a jurisdiction
2. Pay in crypto, no ID asked
3. Root access in about a minute

From $2.39/mo · no setup fees · 5 cryptos
